Directs the city’s municipal finance operations, including budgeting, accounting, payroll, purchasing, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, audits, cash flow forecasting, and records retention. Advises the City Manager, Mayor, and City Council on financial conditions and budget matters. Ensures compliance with governmental accounting standards, laws, ordinances, and adopted budgets; supervises finance staff; administers financial systems, insurance and retirement transactions; and presents financial status reports to city leadership and the public.
