Provides instrumentation and process engineering support for oil and gas capital projects. Responsibilities include instrumentation and control valve selection, PSV sizing, process analysis, P&ID development, equipment and line sizing, technical data sheets, feasibility evaluations, scope development, vendor coordination, and economic analysis. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders and engineering providers, use of process simulation software, troubleshooting, and occasional commissioning travel.

Leads day-to-day document control across projects, assigning work, reviewing records, maintaining registers and revision control, coordinating quality documentation and client submissions, compiling data books, supporting audits, and managing final turnover. The role trains document control staff, resolves documentation issues, maintains controlled records and procedures, tracks approvals and material records, and ensures accurate, timely, compliant project documentation.

Develops 2D P&IDs, 3D vessel, structural, piping, and general arrangement models, fabrication drawings, bills of materials, and interconnecting pipe layouts for process skid and packaged equipment projects. Uses CADWorx, AutoCAD, Isogen, Vault, Navisworks, custom CUI menus, and LISP routines while following drafting standards. Collaborates with engineering teams, manages multiple assignments independently, and delivers IFA and IFC design documents on schedule.

Creates and updates 2D P&ID drawings for midstream oil and gas projects using CADWorx P&ID. Interprets engineering redlines, applies drafting standards, and uses custom CUI menus and LISP routines. Collaborates with engineering and design teams, manages multiple assignments independently, and delivers work on schedule. The role is primarily office-based with occasional shop visits and travel between company locations or for vendor and client contact.
