Leads complex marine and waterfront infrastructure projects from pursuit through delivery. Manages project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, contracts, billing, quality, and client relationships. Provides structural engineering expertise, oversees design documentation, leads multidisciplinary teams, supports business development, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, and ensures profitability and timely completion. The role also involves technical leadership, public agency coordination, industry participation, engineering publications, and occasional after-hours meetings or events.

Performs structural design, bridge and sign structure inspections, fieldwork, engineering calculations, quantity estimates, and inspection reporting. Prepares design drawings and calculation packages using computer-assisted engineering software, coordinates with project managers, guides draftspersons and technicians, communicates with clients, and follows field safety practices. The role requires a civil engineering degree and an Engineer-In-Training credential or ability to obtain one within a year.
