Seasonal Tax Intern supporting tax document preparation, analysis, regulatory compliance, filing requirements, tax research, data gathering, reporting accuracy, and process improvement. The role involves collaborating with tax and other departmental teams, communicating updates, and developing practical tax and accounting experience during the 2027 tax season.

Prepares federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities. Assists with tax projections, planning strategies, tax provision workpapers, financial statement disclosures, and client engagements. Researches tax issues, ensures regulatory compliance, meets deadlines, and collaborates with senior tax professionals and team members to deliver high-quality client service.

Serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors while supporting daily office administration. Responsibilities include answering calls, managing mail and shipments, organizing supplies and shared spaces, preparing and scanning documents, assembling tax returns, and assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, deposits, and petty cash. Requires strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
