The Chief Advancement Officer leads the school’s comprehensive fundraising and advancement strategy, including annual giving, major and planned gifts, campaigns, grants, endowment growth, donor stewardship, alumni and family engagement, and advancement events. Reporting to the Head of School, this senior leader oversees the Advancement Office, manages donor portfolios, partners with trustees and school departments, supports strategic planning, and serves as a public ambassador to strengthen the school’s financial sustainability and community relationships.

The Controller leads accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, audits, tax filings, reconciliations, internal controls, endowment administration, tuition tracking, and business office staff management. The role ensures GAAP compliance, safeguards school assets, supports forecasting and cash management, and collaborates with advancement and enrollment teams on financial data and reporting.

Develops and teaches choreography for approximately nine musical numbers in Disney’s FROZEN, collaborates with the director and production team, supports blocking, and creates an inclusive learning environment. Provides feedback and mentorship to students of varied dance skill levels while aligning movement with the production’s artistic vision. The role requires extensive dance experience, educational or theatrical teaching experience, strong communication, collaboration, professionalism, scheduled rehearsal availability, commuting to Charlottesville, and successful completion of a background check.
