Owns customer deployments of an on-premise robotics and AI security platform, including site surveys, infrastructure planning, installation, integrations, commissioning, system tuning, validation, and operator handover. The role combines software engineering, edge infrastructure, networking, hardware, computer vision, robotics, customer engagement, troubleshooting, training, and deployment automation. Approximately half the time is spent at customer sites across Switzerland and Europe, with the remainder focused on improving tooling and feeding field insights into product development.

Lead and build Laelaps AI’s hardware function from the ground up. Define hardware strategy across ground, aerial, and stationary platforms; design and integrate mechanical, electrical, sensing, power, compute, and actuation systems; manage ruggedization, manufacturing, supply chain, reliability, and field testing; and hire the future hardware team. The role requires shipping robotic systems into real-world environments and taking products from prototype through DVT, PVT, and production.
