Leads a multidisciplinary engineering organization supporting heavy civil tunneling, mine development, and OEM equipment manufacturing. Oversees engineering design, schedules, budgets, quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and technical coordination with divisions, clients, vendors, and regulators. Manages discipline leaders, develops engineering staff, and drives operational improvements in cost, delivery, and performance.

Performs quality control inspection, surveillance, and oversight for rail transit systems, ensuring interface compatibility across electrical, mechanical, fire protection, communications, traction power, train control, and SCADA subsystems. Coordinates system integration testing, reviews test plans and interface documentation, resolves technical conflicts with engineers and vendors, monitors commissioning readiness, verifies compliance with transit standards, and prepares QC reports. The role requires extensive heavy rail systems experience and strong technical coordination skills.

Provides administrative and operational support across construction projects and the home office. Responsibilities include administering Procore, organizing project documents, coordinating preconstruction and closeout records, supporting certified payroll and labor compliance systems, coordinating jobsite services, managing subcontractor and vendor documentation, preparing reports and training materials, assisting with office administration, and improving workflows through technology, automation, and AI.

Manages regional construction risk and insurance programs, including renewals, risk assessments, claims, builders’ risk, bonding, controlled insurance programs, and subcontractor coverage. Reviews contracts, coordinates with brokers, attorneys, insurers, and project teams, and oversees litigation, compliance, reporting, loss prevention, and risk mitigation activities.
