Leads workforce analytics and HR data initiatives, transforming employee, operational, and organizational data into executive insights. Directs the organization’s print and digital publishing operations, including editorial workflows, production schedules, staffing, vendor services, budgets, policies, and quality standards. Oversees publication ethics, copyright, accessibility, open science, public access, and AI-enabled publishing technologies. Manages staff and freelancers, analyzes performance metrics, supports authors and reviewers, and ensures publications meet organizational, contractual, accessibility, and scholarly communication requirements.

Leads financial strategy and oversight for the National Academy of Engineering and its fund, including budgeting, accounting, reporting, investments, audits, tax filings, compliance, governance support, and risk management. Advises senior leadership, manages financial staff, supports boards and committees, develops operational plans, and ensures adherence to GAAP, fund accounting standards, regulations, internal controls, and confidentiality requirements.

Provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Executive Director and Executive Office. Manages calendars, travel, meetings, committee logistics, nomination reviews, financial paperwork, office supplies, technology coordination, records, onboarding, and staff activities. The role requires independent judgment, discretion with confidential information, strong organization, attention to detail, communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office in a hybrid work environment.
