Develops, designs, programs, validates, and improves laser manufacturing processes for medical device products. Maintains and upgrades laser systems, troubleshoots complex issues, establishes product costs, and leads process, equipment, and test-method qualification activities. Develop technical solutions and execute R&D prototype projects for medical device customers. Responsibilities include chemical and materials process development, prototype builds, process optimization, workstation programming, metrology, quality documentation, data analysis, customer communication, and engineering studies. The role focuses on processes such as electroless plating, polyimide coating, thin film deposition, chemical etching, and resist imaging while collaborating with cross-site R&D teams.

Leads budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI reporting, long-range planning, and financial decision support for Agile and Production business units in the US and Netherlands. Partners with senior leadership, Corporate FP&A, Revenue Operations, and site teams on business planning, headcount forecasting, capital investment analysis, reporting, and process improvements. Presents financial insights and ensures standardized planning and compliance across locations.

Leads complex medical-device product development and Lightspeed manufacturing projects from prototyping through production readiness. Develops and optimizes processes, equipment parameters, measurement programs, tooling, and validation methods. Interprets engineering drawings, troubleshoots systems, documents quality requirements, and leads customer and cross-functional meetings. Provides technical mentorship, supports quoting and sales activities, drives continuous improvement, and ensures accurate project data and compliance with quality systems.

Manage financial planning and analysis activities, including month-end reviews, forecasts, annual budgeting, financial modeling, variance analysis, working capital initiatives, cash flow analytics, cost accounting, capital spend reporting, and business case development. Partner with leadership to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, productivity, and strategic decision-making across a manufacturing organization.
