Prepares and analyzes general ledger accounts, reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, and working papers. Supports month-end and year-end close, variance analysis, Canadian GAAP compliance, discrepancy resolution, and financial process improvements. Collaborates with accounting and operational teams to resolve issues and ensure accurate reporting. The role is full-time and fully in-office in Edmonton, with occasional evening or weekend work required to meet deadlines.

Supports daily accounting activities including journal entries, general ledger postings, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, discrepancy resolution, variance analysis, and process improvements. Works under the Controller and collaborates with accountants and internal departments. Requires accounting education, full-cycle accounting knowledge, strong analytical and organizational skills, communication abilities, Excel proficiency, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends when deadlines require.
