Legal Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate commercial, vendor, procurement, customer, construction, financing, and partnership agreements. The role advises stakeholders on contractual risk, supports corporate structuring and governance, maintains contract playbooks and workflows, tracks obligations, assists with due diligence, and monitors relevant legal and regulatory developments. The position partners closely with executive, legal, procurement, delivery, and corporate development teams in a fast-growing infrastructure business.

Build and maintain Volta’s network source of truth, configuration generation, topology simulation, and CI validation systems for large-scale GPU fabrics. Automate site provisioning, drift detection, cabling verification, telemetry, and network acceptance testing. Develop production Python or Go software, support incident response, and validate routing, reachability, convergence, and infrastructure changes before deployment.

Owns project controls for Volta’s Nordics project, including integrated scheduling, cost forecasting, accruals, progress measurement, change control, risk management, contractor schedule and payment reviews, and leadership reporting. The role requires data center or major capital project experience, Primavera P6 expertise, cost management skills, and willingness to be based in the Nordics throughout delivery.

Own the strategy and roadmap for Volta’s platform security and confidential computing capabilities. Lead product managers, partner with security and platform engineering, translate customer security and compliance needs into product features, monitor developments in TEEs, AMD SEV, and Intel TDX, and track security posture and adoption metrics. The role also represents security priorities in cross-functional and executive planning.

Owns Volta’s product marketing narrative, messaging accuracy, analyst relations, competitive intelligence, buyer research, sales enablement, and positioning across its AI infrastructure offerings. The role translates complex technical and financial concepts into buyer-facing messaging, supports executive communications, and partners with product and go-to-market teams on launches, pricing, and packaging.

Owns Volta’s contracting strategy for data center and major capital projects across Europe. Establishes contract forms, flow-downs, commercial standards, and governance; leads negotiations, claims avoidance, and disputes; provides functional leadership to project contracts teams; ensures compliance across jurisdictions; and develops commercial capabilities across the delivery organization.

Owns Volta’s technical accounting positions register and US GAAP policy suite. The role researches complex transactions, drafts audit-ready technical memos, reviews contracts, advises deal teams, leads external auditor discussions, monitors accounting and SEC developments, supports US-to-UK GAAP bridges, contributes to IPO disclosures, and develops technical accounting capability across the finance team.

Own Volta’s content, executive ghostwriting, blog, LinkedIn, community, press, and analyst communications programs. Build the content production pipeline, maintain brand voice, manage executive and company social cadence, develop community strategy, track engagement and share of voice, coordinate PR and influencer relationships, and prepare leadership messaging for announcements and rapid-response situations.
