The Founding Executive Director will launch and lead the Foundation’s strategy, fundraising, grantmaking, evaluation, communications, and operations. Responsibilities include supporting board governance, building organizational systems, cultivating philanthropic partnerships, overseeing grant programs, tracking portfolio performance, producing impact reports, and representing the Foundation externally. The role requires nonprofit leadership, fundraising expertise, knowledge of early childhood systems, and the ability to build processes in an ambiguous, mission-driven environment.

Own account management, retention, expansion, upselling, and new business development for the HELP product portfolio. Lead print-to-digital migration to HELP Connect, develop sales plans, manage the sales funnel, forecast revenue, analyze pipeline data, and collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Learning teams. The role is remote, individual-contributor focused initially, with potential to build a sales team as the business grows.

Coordinate monitoring and compliance activities across early childhood education centers. Conduct site and record reviews, maintain audit-ready documentation, monitor health and safety, analyze findings, and track corrective actions. Partner with leaders and regulatory agencies to resolve risks, prepare reports, support licensing and federal reviews, provide compliance training, and verify sustainable improvements. Supervise assigned personnel and help translate Head Start, licensing, and organizational requirements into effective operational practices.
