Develops command-and-control and autonomy software for uncrewed platforms and web-based interfaces. Responsibilities include software design, flight-critical development, architecture reviews, documentation, automated unit and integration testing, code maintenance, merging, and configuration management within an Agile team supporting a DoD customer. The role is conducted in-office in Huntsville, Alabama, includes less than 10% domestic travel, and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Supports enterprise-level systems engineering, systems integration, mission engineering, and model-based systems engineering for Department of Defense customers. Develops and maintains SysML, UML, and UAF models; performs requirements analysis, architecture development, interoperability studies, trade studies, verification and validation, integration planning, test planning, and scenario-based simulation analysis. Provides technical briefings, reviews engineering artifacts, advises leadership, and supports complex C4ISR, offensive fires, and air and missile defense programs.

Designs, deploys, secures, troubleshoots, and optimizes Azure, AWS, and hybrid-cloud environments. Translates government mission requirements into architectures, infrastructure-as-code, networking, IAM, CI/CD, container, monitoring, migration, and operational solutions. Produces technical designs, diagrams, roadmaps, runbooks, estimates, and implementation documentation while coordinating with cybersecurity, software, infrastructure, data, and mission teams. Supports prototypes, technical assessments, remediation, modernization, and solution development for government customers.

Leads migrations and modernization initiatives, resolves complex incidents, develops architectures and documentation, mentors engineers, and advises government and program leadership on cloud strategy, risks, and technical tradeoffs.

Responsibilities include networking, compute, storage, identity, monitoring, infrastructure-as-code, automation, migration, troubleshooting, security, disaster recovery, and operational readiness. The role requires Azure or AWS expertise, enterprise Linux or Windows administration, cloud security knowledge, relevant certifications, and an active Secret clearance at start.

Supports Army C-RAM and IAMD acquisition programs by integrating programmatic, engineering, testing, configuration management, and logistics inputs. Maintains acquisition documentation, schedules, cost and budget analyses, contractual materials, reports, briefings, and executive communications. Facilitates working groups, assesses program risks and issues, and develops recommendations aligned with cost, schedule, performance, and Army acquisition requirements.

Manage the full lifecycle of classified and unclassified test and mission data, including secure transfer, validation, parsing, cataloging, ingestion, distribution, archival, metadata compliance, and retention. Coordinate with data producers, mission owners, analysts, and software teams; maintain data accountability, trackers, dashboards, and quality controls. Support audits, process improvements, cross-training, and surge operations for critical missile defense test events.

Develop and test C/C++ software for missile and rocket modeling, simulation, data processing, analysis, and visualization. Conduct 6-DOF missile performance studies, develop requirements, document applications, demonstrate products, and present technical results to engineers and customers. The role requires knowledge of missile dynamics, physics-based simulation, numerical methods, command-line development, and Linux environments. This is an on-site Huntsville position requiring an active Secret clearance.

Defines and governs secure hybrid and multi-cloud platform architectures for mission environments. Leads architecture standards, modernization strategies, infrastructure-as-code, networking, IAM, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, observability, resiliency testing, and technical governance. Prototypes and troubleshoots platform capabilities, evaluates technologies, directs architecture reviews, and briefs government and technical leadership.
