Manages 24/7/365 operations and maintenance for enterprise infrastructure and applications supporting Department of State systems. Oversees geographically distributed Tier II and Tier III teams across systems administration, databases, networks, applications, data centers, and cloud-hosted workloads. Ensures service levels, availability, performance, operational readiness, and sustainment. Requires extensive enterprise operations management experience, ITIL certification, database and network expertise, and an active TS clearance.

Designs, implements, maintains, and evolves global network infrastructure and unified communications systems. Manages servers, networking equipment, workstations, applications, Active Directory, vSphere, databases, patches, backups, security controls, upgrades, and equipment retirement. Resolves incidents and service requests through ServiceNow, documents configurations and topology, monitors system performance, coordinates projects, and reports operational risks. Requires a Secret clearance, five or more years of experience, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Provides on-site systems administration support for Department of State offices. Installs, maintains, monitors, secures, and troubleshoots servers, networks, workstations, applications, databases, and peripherals. Manages patches, user accounts, backups, system upgrades, configuration changes, incidents, service requests, documentation, and topology diagrams. Requires an associate degree or equivalent, two or more years of experience, and a Secret security clearance.

Administer and maintain SSL/TLS certificate management and renewals within a network engineering team. Responsibilities include optimizing LAN networks, upgrading WAN connectivity, implementing high-availability load balancing and denial-of-service detection, monitoring permissions and audit logs, and maintaining certificate-management documentation and procedures. The role supports secure, highly available public-facing services for Department of State facilities and requires a Secret clearance.

Supports a Department of State IT services program through transition management. Coordinates transition-in and transition-out plans, operational control, staff handoffs, project documentation, deployment timelines, collaboration sessions, and common tracking tools and processes. Works within the Program Management Office with government representatives, incoming and outgoing staff, portfolio teams, and product teams to ensure successful transition execution and mission support.
