Leads pipeline and workflow development for complex visual effects and feature animation shows. Designs technical solutions, oversees show technology stacks, manages pipeline operations, mentors Pipeline TDs and ATDs, conducts code reviews, assigns development work, and collaborates with production, R&D, and supervisors. Ensures tools are scalable, reliable, well-documented, and effectively transferred to product development teams after production.

Develop and maintain high-performance facial rigs for digital humans and creatures in high-end VFX productions. Build FACS-based systems using blendshapes, joints, and procedural deformation; support facial performance capture and retargeting workflows; troubleshoot deformation issues; optimize rigs for production; and collaborate with modeling, animation, pipeline, and capture teams to deliver expressive, photoreal, animator-friendly performances.

Leads the long-term technical strategy for a product portfolio supporting VFX and feature animation. Owns architectural coherence, roadmap direction, cross-product trade-offs, technical risk, platform debt, and engineering governance. Partners with product engineering leaders and architects to align applications and integrations with production needs, business priorities, and sustainable technology evolution. Represents Product Technology in executive and industry discussions.

Build and evolve scalable Java platform services, APIs, data pipelines, and distributed systems supporting AI applications and user experiences. Responsibilities include integrating AI inference systems, developing REST and GraphQL APIs, managing event-driven workloads, optimizing performance and concurrency, and deploying cloud-native services with Kubernetes and AWS. The role also involves observability, fault tolerance, technical design reviews, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration with AI, UI, and DevOps teams.

Supports the Feature Animation Editor with VFX and story editorial tasks, including maintaining internal cuts, editorial databases, and cut information. Requires strong technical and creative editing skills, animation and VFX pipeline knowledge, Avid proficiency, attention to detail, multitasking, and French-English bilingual communication.

Leads cross-functional teams delivering scalable AI-powered capabilities for a media platform. Defines technical solutions, evaluates AI tools and frameworks, guides execution, supports customer pursuits, and optimizes AI workloads across cloud infrastructure. Collaborates with AI/ML, platform, and QA teams on microservices, automation, CI/CD, DevOps/MLOps, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency while fostering technical best practices and continuous improvement.

Create highly accurate digital likenesses and expressive facial assets for VFX and television projects. Build neutral and FACS expression models, animation-friendly topology, efficient UVs, and hero-quality assets for close-ups, LED volumes, and real-time workflows. Collaborate with texture, shader, look-development, and rigging teams while incorporating feedback and ensuring likeness accuracy, anatomical fidelity, and production quality.

Lead a seven-person Infrastructure and DevOps team supporting GPU-intensive AI model training and inference. Oversee multi-cloud infrastructure, primarily GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform or OpenTofu, high-performance storage, FinOps, capacity planning, reliability, incident response, and security compliance. Partner with engineering, research, and executive stakeholders while providing architectural guidance and technical escalation for complex infrastructure challenges.
