Lead look development for photorealistic character assets in a high-end VFX pipeline. Create and refine materials, shaders, and surface details using Houdini, Maya, and Solaris; collaborate with texturing, lighting, and pipeline teams; troubleshoot shading challenges; improve workflows; and balance visual quality with render efficiency. The role requires end-to-end asset ownership, strong artistic judgment, technical leadership, and familiarity with USD, real-time workflows, and shading languages.

Responsibilities also include time and task management, conflict resolution, and prioritization. A background in level design is preferred.

Lead the design, implementation, deployment, and adoption of a modern telemetry stack for global OpenShift clusters. Develop logging, tracing, metrics, dashboards, and reliability reports; advise technology teams on best practices; troubleshoot development and production issues; and communicate task progress. The role requires strong software development practices, telemetry expertise, and experience with high-volume, mission-critical services.

Design and lead scalable, secure cloud-based SaaS architectures for media-centric platforms. Translate client and business requirements into technical solutions, establish architecture standards, evaluate technologies, and oversee performance optimization. Provide technical leadership across pre-sales and implementation, collaborate with product and engineering teams, ensure compliance, and mentor junior architects and engineers.

Develop and maintain VFX and feature animation pipelines, provide technical support to artists, and create Python tools and workflows for show requirements. Collaborate with R&D and production supervisors, improve pipeline capabilities, align tool requests with company strategy, and mentor junior Pipeline TDs through tutorials and day-to-day guidance.

Create high-quality 3D character models for animated films using reference materials, adapting to varied artistic styles and organic forms. Participate in production reviews, respond to artistic and technical feedback, quality-check assets, and follow DNEG modeling workflows and pipeline tools. Collaborate closely with modeling leads and supervisors to ensure technically viable models are delivered on schedule.

Create and support character grooming for animated feature films, ensuring appealing designs and production-ready results. Troubleshoot and improve grooming tools, workflows, and pipelines while collaborating with Rigging, Animation, CFX, Surfacing, and production technology teams. Provide technical support and training, document tools and protocols, participate in workflow meetings, and communicate effectively with both artistic and technical stakeholders.

Supports technical resource operations by transferring data to tape archives, organizing storage, optimizing data movement, balancing servers, moving daily shots, monitoring the render farm, and coordinating archived-data restores with production teams.
