Leads electrical engineering development and equipment design for complex EPC projects. Responsibilities include calculations, equipment specifications, vendor bid and drawing evaluations, design review and approval, load summaries, client communication, subcontractor oversight, field data collection, plant start-up support, equipment inspections, and constructability coordination. Provides technical guidance to junior personnel and may travel internationally for field assignments.

Owns and optimizes schedules for medium to large EPC projects and alliance programs. Responsibilities include developing detailed schedules, facilitating planning sessions, analyzing schedule risk and critical paths, coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction activities, tracking progress and milestones, supporting recovery planning, and mentoring junior schedulers. The role involves field assignments at project sites across the Southern United States and requires extensive travel, technical proficiency, leadership, and adaptability in demanding field environments.

Leads proposal, prequalification, presentation, and interview efforts from opportunity identification through submission and closeout. Develops pursuit plans, compliance matrices, schedules, win strategies, customer-focused messaging, and proposal content. Coordinates multidisciplinary teams, reviews, production, submissions, and lessons learned. Maintains content libraries and knowledge resources, mentors Proposal Coordinators, supports executive presentations, and improves proposal processes, tools, and quality.

Prepares moderately difficult to difficult instrumentation and electrical engineering drawings using manual and computer-assisted drafting techniques. Applies fundamental engineering concepts, mathematical formulas, material calculations, and design standards. Reviews manufacturer and fabricator prints for specification compliance, performs routine checks, develops minor design elements, and supports field assignments at operating plants or construction sites.

Independently performs mechanical design for equipment, components, structures, and systems across EPC projects. Prepares sketches, calculations, equipment specifications, data sheets, lists, and purchase requisitions; evaluates vendor bids and drawings; interprets engineering codes and standards; reviews PFDs and P&IDs; and supports field data collection. May guide junior personnel, coordinate group activities, and assist with staffing evaluations.

Leads mechanical design for rotating equipment, particularly special-purpose steam turbines, across design, procurement, vendor evaluation, and startup phases. Prepares equipment specifications, requisitions, data sheets, equipment lists, PFDs, and P&IDs; reviews vendor deliverables; interprets API 612, PIP practices, and client standards; evaluates sizing, materials, examinations, and performance testing. Provides technical guidance, coordinates design activities, leads technical meetings, reviews junior staff work, and occasionally visits operating plants or construction sites.

Prepares moderately difficult to difficult engineering and construction drawings using manual and computer-assisted drafting techniques. Supports procurement and subcontract reviews, coordinates with project management, legal, and commercial teams, prepares reports and presentations, and communicates contractual matters to stakeholders. Travel to domestic and potentially international project sites may be required.
