Processes and issues certified birth, death, marriage, and other legal records; verifies identification and supporting documents; assists the public and government agencies; handles confidential information; collects fees; maintains files and electronic records; prepares daily and state reports; corrects errors; and supports employee training while following Michigan vital records regulations.

Performs payroll and timekeeping for a juvenile detention facility, including entering and verifying hours, calculating overtime and pay codes, reviewing payroll reports, processing hires and separations, tracking attendance, and preparing payroll-related reports. The role follows collective bargaining agreements and personnel policies, researches payroll data, and coordinates with Human Resources. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of payroll processing experience, and required child welfare clearances.

Supports prosecutors and attorneys by preparing, organizing, preserving, redacting, and presenting digital evidence for hearings and trials. Supervises interns and volunteers, oversees specialist caseloads, manages grants, supports unit planning, trains police and prosecutors, assists with technology, and coordinates with community agencies. Travel is required to monitor out-county specialists and attend meetings and events.

Manages daily operations for the On-Site Septic and Well and Food Safety programs. Supervises environmental health staff, coordinates assignments, conducts quality assurance audits, enforces sewage and well regulations, oversees compliance and enforcement actions, prepares activity reports, supports accreditation and program evaluations, and provides technical expertise. The role also includes emergency on-call responsibilities and assistance with related environmental health programs.

Provides legal representation and counsel to Wayne County, officials, departments, boards, and commissions. Handles litigation, hearings, appeals, legal research, motions, briefs, contracts, compliance advice, policy drafting, client communication, and mental health docket appearances. Maintains case records in Prolaw and advises clients on legislation, regulations, risks, and legal strategy.
