Creates 3D CAD designs, builds prototypes using welding, machining, forming, and assembly methods, and evaluates feasibility, performance, and durability. Researches materials and manufacturing techniques, documents testing and lessons learned, and communicates technical findings to internal teams. Requires an independent, hands-on approach to solving technical challenges in product development and manufacturing environments.
