First Nations law students will work one to two days per week during semester alongside their studies, gaining practical experience across legal practice areas. Cadets will work with specialist lawyers, build legal and professional skills, learn about clients and industries, and receive mentoring. Applicants must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, be enrolled in an LLB or JD, and be able to attend the Sydney or Melbourne office weekly.

Advise clients on equity capital markets, public and private M&A, IPOs, disclosure obligations, ASX Listing Rules and corporate governance. Manage live transactions, provide practical commercial advice, support listed-company matters and work closely with partners and deal teams. The role offers broad exposure across ECM and M&A, with a strong focus on technical development, judgment, collaboration and high-quality execution.

Supports a partner and lawyers within the Energy, Resources and Infrastructure group through diary and email management, billing and accounts reporting, document and file management, client liaison, e-filing, travel coordination, and administrative duties. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Perth and requires strong organization, communication, document preparation, and legal administration capabilities.

Advise clients on complex public and private M&A transactions, private equity, equity capital markets, joint ventures, and corporate governance. Lead significant transactions, manage client relationships, provide commercially focused legal advice, draft and analyze transaction documents, guide strategic decisions, and mentor team members in a collaborative corporate advisory practice.

Advise sponsors, borrowers, and lenders on project finance transactions across infrastructure, energy, resources, and public-private partnerships. Draft and negotiate financing documents, conduct legal analysis, support clients through complex transactions, and collaborate with senior lawyers and clients. The role may also involve acquisition financings and offers opportunities to develop a project finance practice.
