Supports direct and indirect taxation litigation and advisory matters involving income tax, GST, customs, assessments, investigations, compliance, and regulatory proceedings. Conducts legal research, analyzes tax laws and precedents, drafts appeals, petitions, replies, advisories, and related documents, and assists with filings before tax authorities and tribunals. Manages case records and contributes to knowledge resources, including case compilations, articles, newsletters, and internal research.

Lead complex economic offenses, regulatory, investigative, advisory, and dispute-related matters from strategy through execution. Provide commercially informed legal advice, manage client relationships, coordinate regulators and multidisciplinary stakeholders, supervise legal deliverables, and mentor junior lawyers. The role also supports business development, thought leadership, recruitment, training, knowledge management, and institutional capability-building.
