Performs complex payroll and benefits accounting duties, including preparing reports, analyses, journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, retirement plan trust reconciliations, financial reports, tax return reviews, and benefit accounting records. Supports special projects, department management, and payroll cross-training while ensuring accurate, timely, policy-compliant recordkeeping.

Administer and govern Power BI environments, dashboards, data models, and reporting systems for construction project controls. Develop analytics, data dictionaries, metadata, lineage documentation, process manuals, and governance artifacts. Connect source systems, support ODS structures, validate reports, and ensure data accuracy. Train project controls and construction users, collaborate with IT and project teams, and may supervise staff. The role requires strong technical writing, organization, communication, multitasking, and deadline-management skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to coordinate personnel through influence.

Provides project and field payroll administration, including timecard processing, certified payroll reporting, union wage compliance, prevailing wage documentation, and payroll record maintenance. Supports project managers and field staff with billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor setup, purchasing card reconciliation, document control, shipping, and business development administration. Assists with audits and internal control compliance while managing confidential records, deadlines, and multiple administrative priorities.

Provides region-wide scheduling support for construction proposals and projects. Responsibilities include developing and updating CPM schedules, reviewing scheduling requirements, guiding subcontractor and vendor schedules, analyzing project delays and impacts, establishing reporting procedures, maintaining project controls standards, implementing Primavera P6 Web tools, and training users. Requires strong Primavera and Microsoft Office skills, construction knowledge, communication abilities, attention to detail, a valid driver’s license, and some travel.

Assists with implementing and maintaining quality management systems for construction projects and regions. Analyzes testing results, project requirements, budgets, and quality data; prepares quality control plans and tracking databases; supports laboratory accreditation and certification compliance; supervises and trains technical staff; evaluates vendors; performs professional engineering services, including stamping and sealing; and promotes safety, contract compliance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Supports Accounts Receivable operations by verifying invoices, processing receipts, reconciling customer and general ledger accounts, maintaining accurate records, preparing management reports, assisting with audits, and supporting process improvements. The role also answers field staff questions, reviews customer master data, maintains audit-ready files, and helps ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Partners with managers and corporate HR on recruiting, employee relations, benefits, compensation, training, compliance, EEO, labor relations, and employee development. Supports hiring strategies, audits, program rollouts, reporting, industry and college recruiting events, and HR education. Coaches managers, ensures legal compliance, protects confidential information, promotes safety initiatives, and travels approximately 20% of the time.

Processes accounts payable invoices and manual entries, performs data entry and GL/vendor reconciliations, supports month-end close, responds to vendor inquiries, processes mail and scans documents, and assists with audits and internal-control compliance. The role requires accurate, deadline-driven work, customer service, accounting-system proficiency, intermediate E1, Excel, and Word skills, and occasional overtime and travel.
