Leads hardware execution and delivery for autonomous mobile robotic platforms in Munich. Manages hardware engineers, oversees prototypes through production deployments, ensures reliability and validation, guides system-level hardware-software integration, and represents local engineering leadership. The role also develops university and research partnerships and supports EU-funded innovation programs, including Horizon Europe.

Own end-to-end functional safety for autonomous mobile robots, including risk assessments, safety concepts, SICK controller programming, vehicle commissioning, Python integration, verification, validation, and technical documentation. Collaborate across robotics, electrical, mechanical, and field teams to support certifications, audits, deployments, troubleshooting, and scalable safety processes. The role requires hands-on work with safety sensors, circuits, industrial networks, and real vehicle testing in warehouse and customer-like environments.
