The role focuses on Layer 1 wireless telecom protocols, embedded software on RTOS platforms, LTE and 2G specifications, communication through UART, LTE NAS, AT commands, SIM specifications, and connection-management features including calls, SMS, and session management. Strong C or C++ programming, analytical, design, debugging, and protocol-stack development skills are required.

Leads quality for an application area by designing test strategies, plans, automation frameworks, regression suites, and CI/CD test pipelines. Develops scalable automation tools using Java and Selenium, performs frontend and backend/API testing, and supports functional and non-functional validation. Partners with software development teams to prevent defects, improve requirements and design quality, and execute testing across cloud-based environments.

Manages embedded software delivery across engineering leaders, senior stakeholders, and third-party hardware and software vendors. Responsibilities include tracking and reporting delivery progress, planning product features and releases, coordinating communications, and supporting software product development in the media domain, including set-top boxes, televisions, and media players.
