Provides in-house legal counsel to a healthcare organization across regulatory matters, contracts, disputes, litigation avoidance, policies, strategic initiatives, and complex business and clinical issues. Negotiates agreements and settlements, manages outside counsel and legal budgets, advises executives and business units, represents the organization in legal proceedings, monitors regulatory changes, trains staff, and supervises and mentors legal personnel.

Develops and executes social media strategies to promote Memorial Healthcare System’s brand, services, programs, events, and community engagement. Creates written, visual, organic, and paid content; manages social channels, campaigns, policies, and employee deputy programs; monitors activity and responds to grievances. Analyzes performance KPIs to provide optimization recommendations, supports public relations and media relationships, and provides real-time event coverage through photography and video.

Processes purchase order and non-purchase order invoices, performs two- and three-way matching, obtains approvals, reconciles vendor accounts, resolves payment inquiries and invoice exceptions, and issues checks and ACH payments. Maintains vendor records, supports electronic invoicing, processes 1099s and reimbursements, assists with utility accruals and month-end reporting, and provides clerical support. Requires accuracy, critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.

Directs system-wide supply chain procurement for a healthcare organization, including sourcing, purchasing, supplier and GPO relationships, compliance, cost savings, procure-to-pay processes, equipment and construction procurement, budgets, audits, emergency preparedness, and staff management. Develops procurement strategies, standardizes purchasing practices, resolves shortages, leads cross-functional workgroups, monitors KPIs, and partners with Finance, clinical teams, and organizational leadership.

Provides legal advice and counsel to clinical and business units, researches legal issues, drafts and negotiates contracts and legal opinions, monitors regulatory changes, develops policies, represents the Legal Department in meetings, liaises with management and outside parties, and may manage outside counsel and legal budgets.

Manages strategic sourcing for healthcare supplies, services, and equipment. Develops sourcing plans, conducts RFx processes, negotiates supplier contracts, evaluates bids, manages vendor credentialing and performance, and supports value analysis initiatives. Tracks spending, savings, inflation, contract compliance, and implementation outcomes while collaborating with Legal, Finance, Clinical Engineering, Facilities, Procurement, Inventory, and Operations. Provides market analysis, stakeholder recommendations, and ongoing category expertise to drive savings, resilience, efficiency, and quality.

Develops and delivers nursing orientation, continuing education, competency assessments, and professional development programs. Supports onboarding for employees and students, mentors clinical staff, evaluates educational effectiveness, and promotes regulatory compliance, patient safety, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement. Leads education-related committees and projects, conducts needs assessments and nursing research, disseminates findings, and helps align departmental goals with organizational strategy.

Supervises staff supporting Workday Finance and Supply Chain business applications within Information Systems. Leads resolution of complex issues, monitors service quality, ensures policy compliance, coordinates staffing, and provides employee training, coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback. The role also supports project management, vendor management, security, HIPAA compliance, business prioritization, and change initiatives in a healthcare information systems environment.

Promotes and grows specialty healthcare service lines through community events, vendor booths, lectures, wellness programs, sponsorships, and partnerships. Collects event data, maintains databases, prepares reports, and coordinates projects aligned with population health needs and disease awareness initiatives. Requires strong communication, public speaking, creativity, initiative, critical thinking, and independent judgment.

Manages complex and escalated HR inquiries and supports leave-of-absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, state leave, and workplace accommodations. Maintains compliance records, updates HR systems, analyzes reports, educates employees and managers, resolves cases, coordinates with HR stakeholders, and recommends process improvements. Provides knowledge support to Tier 1 HR staff while prioritizing multiple issues and handling sensitive employee situations professionally.
