Leads the statewide campaign’s data and analytics strategy for GOTV. Oversees voter data, campaign systems, data standards, dashboards, reporting, targeting, modeling, and Election Day monitoring. Provides actionable analysis to leadership and organizing teams, coordinates with campaigns and partner organizations, manages complex data programs, trains staff, and ensures systems support fast, accurate decision-making during Early Vote and Election Day.

Provides legal advice to the Texas Democratic Party on election law, voting rights, election administration, ballot access, campaign finance, and party rules. Assists with litigation, appeals, contracts, open records requests, subpoenas, policies, and compliance matters. Tracks legislative and litigation developments, trains party and election staff, and supports employment, governance, and risk-management issues.

Serves as the on-the-record spokesperson for the Texas Democratic Party’s gubernatorial campaign. Oversees communications and messaging strategy, plans press events, drafts releases and statements, develops communications plans, pitches stories to reporters, responds to media inquiries, and manages crisis communications. The role works closely with party leadership, staff, and stakeholders in a fast-paced campaign environment.

Part-time interns support the Texas Democratic Party through database maintenance, reporting, research, document analysis, outreach, engagement, IT, operations, HR, finance, analytics, project coordination, and initiative implementation. Internships last 10 weeks at 24 hours per week and are conducted in person in Austin or Dallas. Candidates need strong communication, research, writing, organizational, collaboration, and independent work skills, along with commitment to the party’s mission and to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
