Processes, organizes, sorts, and shelves returned library materials; fulfills patron holds; maintains accurate shelving sequences; re-shelves misplaced items; shifts materials; and keeps public and staff areas neat. The role requires customer service, organizational skills, attention to detail, physical ability to lift and move materials, alphabetization, use of the Dewey Decimal System, and learning library self-check and return technology.
