Develops and introduces new products into manufacturing, improves existing processes, evaluates tooling and equipment, supports cost reduction, and resolves production issues. The role interprets engineering drawings and CAD models, prepares estimates and inspection reports, recommends design-for-manufacturability improvements, coordinates NPI projects, and works with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Responsibilities also include process design, quality-system compliance, project tracking, manufacturing-area coordination, and training.
