Coordinate planned and urgent vessel maintenance, manage procurement and inventory of parts and spares, liaise with crews, contractors and suppliers, support vessel surveys/certification and maintain accurate records in maintenance and safety management systems.

Provide operational support for UK towage from the Middlesbrough planning centre: manage bookings, scheduling, invoicing and crew/tug logistics; coordinate with technical and crewing teams; maintain client and stakeholder relationships; prepare operational plans and identify commercial opportunities. Work to a 24-hour rota including day and night shifts.

Coordinate procurement, warehousing, inventory, logistics and Purchase-to-Pay for marine operations in Soyo. Work with vessel crews, suppliers and finance to ensure timely, compliant and cost-effective delivery of materials, services and equipment while maintaining inventory control and customs compliance.

Hands-on People & Culture role delivering operational HR support across recruitment, learning and development, employee relations, onboarding, and HR systems (Workday). Partner with leaders to support shore-based staff and vessel crew, ensure compliance with Angolan labour law, drive employee engagement, and implement process and system improvements.

Support global business development by performing market and customer analyses, building data-driven opportunity assessments and business cases, supporting tenders, and enabling cross-functional commercial initiatives to drive port and terminal growth.

Maintain and repair onboard machinery and marine systems for tug operations, support safe winch operation, prepare maintenance records, report defects, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, assist deck crew, and participate in drills and training. Role is 80% part-time (minimum 146 days/year) and may require short-notice availability.
