Provide strategic financial leadership to City Managers and Corporate Directors, offering budgeting, forecasting, governance, and project financial advice. Lead Business Finance coordination, allocate finance resources, manage staff, ensure statutory financial standards, and identify value-for-money and partnership funding opportunities to support directorate objectives.

Provide research, political advice and media support to the Reform Group Leader and councillors. Draft reports, prepare briefings, plan and minute meetings, manage press and social media, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure implementation of group decisions while handling confidential information.

Collect, extract and report DfE data, maintain databases/spreadsheets, process orders/invoices/payments, handle sensitive customer enquiries, support Early Years Funding Officer and team, liaise with Family Information Services, maintain knowledge of funding and SEND processes, and promote safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.

Provide business analysis to improve customer experience across channels by mapping end-to-end processes, designing accessible self-service solutions, working with stakeholders and data analysts, and leading implementation of assigned work packages to track and report improvement outcomes.
