Lead and execute the organization's comprehensive fundraising strategy across major gifts, annual giving, grants, corporate sponsorships, planned giving, events, and donor stewardship. Manage development staff, CRM and grant processes, budgets, and performance metrics; cultivate major donors, foundations, and partners; collaborate with executive leadership, board, and cross-functional teams to meet fundraising goals and ensure compliance and long-term financial sustainability.

Develops and manages AVANCE-Houston’s email, website, and social media content. Responsibilities include creating marketing strategies, filming and photographing programs and events, editing visual media, publishing promotional materials, coordinating event logistics, supporting graphic design, and analyzing campaign performance. The role requires strong writing, organization, communication, WordPress, basic HTML/CSS, Adobe Suite, and social media skills, along with travel to program sites and a flexible schedule.

Provides administrative and clerical support for CORE, HR, and United Way programs. Responsibilities include scheduling, communications, records management, invoice and expense tracking, report preparation, meeting and event coordination, travel arrangements, partnership support, timeline and deliverable tracking, and liaison work with internal teams, vendors, community agencies, and stakeholders.
