Develop, program, commission, and troubleshoot PLC/DDC controls for HVAC equipment. Provide remote and field diagnostics, support commissioning, create control system documentation, assist sales with control system design, and support R&D and testing. Travel ~20% within continental US.

Entry-level electrical engineer supporting design, testing, and documentation of electrical systems for HVAC equipment. Assist in creating schematics, troubleshooting components, documenting test results, and collaborating with engineers while learning codes, standards, and company procedures.

Support product planning and implementation for assigned HVAC products: define specifications, manage electronic catalog and BOMs, analyze test data for DOE/ASHRAE/AHRI compliance, support engineering applications, warranty/after-market issues, vendor coordination, and documentation. Manage and administer the company's fully insured workers' compensation program: coordinate claims with carriers and medical providers, ensure regulatory compliance, investigate incidents, support return-to-work and modified duty, maintain records, provide guidance and training to management and employees, analyze claim trends, and work with HR and legal on complex or litigated cases.

Lead multiple engineering teams to execute product development, improve manufacturability, and ensure performance, cost, quality, and schedule targets. Align engineering strategy with business goals, drive process standardization and continuous improvement, support regulatory compliance and product certification, and develop high-performing teams through hiring, coaching, and succession planning.

Design, validate, and implement HVAC products and components from concept to production. Create 3D models, BOMs, drawings, and prototypes; collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, sales, and supply chain; optimize designs for manufacturability, performance, cost, and regulatory compliance; support testing, troubleshooting, and field operations.

Lead strategic R&D and product development: research and validate emerging technologies, design mechanical/electrical/control systems, build and test prototypes, author proposals and technical reports, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor engineering teams, manage BOMs/PLM/ERP integration, and evaluate feasibility, risk, and profitability for new products.

Manage and coordinate project activities to meet schedule and budget. Plan, assign, and supervise project staff and subcontractors; resolve technical issues; prepare reports; modify schedules; collaborate with OEMs and contractors; ensure safe onsite work and occasional facility visits.
