Designs and modifies mechanical equipment to meet customer requirements, improve product efficiency, and support manufacturing. Creates and reviews assembly and detail drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor, coordinates with departments and vendors, resolves drawing-related issues, and performs field measurements at customer and job sites. The role also supports quality initiatives and continuous improvement while traveling to customer and vendor facilities as needed.

Creates and maintains technical manuals, parts books, and safety documentation for industrial equipment. Photographs and documents equipment setup, startup, maintenance, and field installation procedures. Collaborates with engineers, customers, and other stakeholders, using engineering drawings to identify parts and assemblies. Ensures documentation accuracy, tracks project schedules, supports quality systems, and drives continuous improvement.
