Oversee backcountry department operations, safety procedures, staff training, guest logistics, equipment rentals, trip planning, and guide coordination. Manage gear inventory, maintenance, rental setup, bookings, meetings, reports, and guest communications. Lead avalanche and rescue training, monitor weather and snow conditions, resolve guest issues, maintain vehicles and workspaces, and occasionally guide snowshoe tours or transport guests in the Hakuba/Nagano area.

Handle guest enquiries, process bookings/payments, schedule guides and vehicles, coordinate daily tour operations, maintain records and reporting, support office operations and guest logistics, and contribute to a positive team environment in a seasonal mountain setting.

Lead Evergreen's winter guide team and manage daily heli-ski, backcountry touring, and off-piste operations. Oversee scheduling, safety, rescue readiness, inventory, training, guest experience, and stakeholder relations while ensuring compliance with Japanese and company protocols. Support budgeting, season planning, and partner coordination.
