Two-year rotational graduate programme exposing candidates to Alfred H Knight's global operations across metals, minerals, energy and solid fuels. Participants rotate through business functions, work on cross-functional projects, travel to multiple sites in South Africa and Mozambique, and develop operational, analytical, and interpersonal skills to progress into operational and management roles.

Provide client-facing administrative support: respond to inquiries, manage communications, deliver reports and invoices, use dashboards to track workload and KPIs, assist supervisors, and contribute to process and quality improvements.

Provide excellent verbal and electronic customer service to clients and overseas offices. Handle client inquiries, liaise with international AHK offices, prepare management reports, manage administrative tasks, prioritize workload, and solve problems proactively. Maintain high attention to detail, strong time-management, and a proactive approach to support service delivery and client satisfaction. Work independently and as part of a team; travel as required.

Provide administrative and financial support for the Rustenburg laboratory: register samples and maintain customers in LabCreate, generate invoices for COD clients, manage purchase orders, creditors and debtors, prepare monthly financial schedules and reconciliations, maintain asset and supplier registers, handle office supplies and mail, and act as reliever for Sample Administrator and Finance Admin Assistant when required.

Lead analysis for large-scale global IT and digital change initiatives: run discovery workshops, define requirements, design solutions, support UAT and deployment, mentor other BAs, and collaborate with senior stakeholders, technical teams and suppliers to deliver end-to-end projects.

Coordinate sample intake and data entry into the laboratory information system, communicate with customers and other locations, generate quotations, certificates, invoices, and manage sample archives and returns.

Manage day-to-day procurement activities across Tanzania and the Africa region, ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality procurement services. Support supplier selection, promote sustainable and ethical purchasing, control costs, meet reporting deadlines, and maintain high quality and documentation standards while using business software tools.

Lead and coach a team of Implementation Analysts to plan and deliver global implementations of core systems (LIMS and job management tools). Own end-to-end project delivery, governance, capacity planning, risk management, stakeholder reporting, and global training and change-management programs across multi-site laboratory environments.

Manage and grow Chinese client relationships across Zambia and Southern Africa. Lead a customer-focused team, coordinate between Operations and Admin, ensure quality documentation and invoicing, propose commercial services, and report on performance and opportunities. Provide culturally sensitive daily client contact and both remote and on-site support.
