Build and maintain backend-leaning full-stack features for JetPens’ e-commerce platform and internal systems. Responsibilities include checkout, payments, inventory, order processing, fulfillment, customer communications, performance, reliability, security, observability, and production troubleshooting. The engineer will modernize a mature PHP and MySQL application, investigate complex issues across integrations and data, make technical tradeoffs, and document systems and architecture.
