Lead and manage all fundraising activities and strategy for Greater Houston programs. Oversee development staff, major gifts cultivation, community outreach, strategic planning, solicitation, stewardship, and evaluation to ensure sustainable funding.

Writes, develops, submits, and administers local foundation, corporate, state, and federal grants and ensures contract compliance; leads public and media relations, photographs and writes event coverage, manages social media and website content, coordinates events and office activities, and serves as liaison to funding sources and media to maintain a positive community image.

Lead county fundraising operations to meet annual goals: develop and execute major gift, individual, corporate, and community fundraising strategies; manage staff, cultivate donors, prepare proposals, and coordinate volunteer engagement to generate revenue and in-kind support.

Build relationships with donors and advisors, advise on estate planning, present to boards, and travel frequently across the region to secure and manage a donor portfolio.

Develops and manages a Major Gifts program: identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards major donors; manages a donor portfolio (200-250); supports fundraising events and volunteer engagement to generate revenue for the Area Command.

Manage and implement capital campaign events and communications to support fundraising goals. Plan events end-to-end (guest lists, timelines, budgets, vendors), draft digital and print materials, maintain event and donor records, coordinate outreach and stewardship with campaign and donor services teams, and support event-day donor interactions and post-event reporting.
