Lead systems engineering for a defence cyber programme, implementing ISO/IEEE/IEC lifecycle processes, defining and delivering system solutions, managing technical teams, assuring requirements flow-down, coordinating architects, overseeing design reviews, supplier/customer engagement, producing technical proposals and artefacts, and supporting security clearance-sensitive activities.

The Systems Engineer supports the development, modification, flight testing, and in-service support of Litening laser designation pods. Responsibilities include analyzing operational and maintenance issues, managing safety and airworthiness compliance, coordinating equipment modifications, supporting customer integration and flight trials, liaising with military and international stakeholders, preparing technical proposals and estimates, and supporting field service and program delivery.

Lead architecture, design, implementation and testing of embedded and application software for cryptographic/key-management systems. Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, define software processes, produce technical proposals, and ensure compliance with security and defence standards.

Lead design and development of integrated avionics and communications systems using MBSE and simulation tools. Lead FPGA firmware architecture, design, implementation, integration and verification. Produce requirements-derived firmware specs, documentation and traceability. Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, chair technical reviews, estimate work, manage firmware processes, and act as firmware lead. Ensure compliance with standards, manage information security, and support project reporting and delivery in defence environments.
