Leads the Controls Engineering department, overseeing industrial control system design, PLC programming, testing, commissioning, and support. Manages engineering staff, resource planning, technical standards, project delivery, compliance, hiring, coaching, and continuous improvement. Collaborates with sales, manufacturing, aftermarket, customers, and field service teams while ensuring adherence to safety, ISO, electrical, and industrial standards. Requires substantial controls engineering and supervisory experience, with 15% travel to manufacturing, warehouse, and customer sites.

Develop detailed 3D mechanical models, 2D drawings, and customized design packages for complex projects. Manage multiple concurrent projects, integrate vendor and legacy designs, coordinate mechanical layouts with electrical requirements, and ensure drafting accuracy and engineering compliance. Conduct peer reviews, mentor junior designers and drafters, and serve as a technical subject matter expert in a designated product, software, or manufacturing area.
