Leads the resort-wide sales, marketing, revenue, and commercial strategy for a new luxury Caribbean resort. Oversees group, transient, catering, advertising, public relations, digital marketing, forecasting, budgeting, revenue management, and market positioning. Recruits and develops a geographically dispersed team, builds feeder-market strategies, negotiates business, presents performance to ownership, and partners with executive and corporate leadership to maximize revenue, profitability, and guest experience.

The role also trains operational associates on how their work affects hotel financial results.

Perform billing, cash management, deposit reconciliation, accounts receivable support, payroll and POS reconciliations, monthly inventory and audit tasks, balance sheet reconciliations, and general office support to assist property accounting and month-end close.

Supports the Director of People across human resources functions while leading resort learning and development programs. Facilitates onboarding and departmental training, coaches managers and associates, supports employee relations investigations, manages confidential documentation, coordinates recognition initiatives, and oversees trainer certifications. Provide administrative and coordination support for the Security Department including scheduling, reporting, record-keeping, training coordination, vendor and budget support, and confidential incident documentation to maintain a safe resort environment.

Lead corporate safety and security strategy for a multi-property hospitality portfolio. Oversee incident prevention, investigations, claims management, regulatory compliance, training, life-safety systems, crisis management, property assessments, and mentorship of property security teams. Support insurance renewals, technology selection, and emergency response while driving data-driven risk reduction.

Manage day-to-day accounts receivable and payable for a hotel, handle vendor and client inquiries, perform reconciliations, prepare month-end entries and financial reports, process taxes and invoices, and support account collections and billing resolution.

Sell group room and F&B business across the Midwest to meet revenue goals. Prospect and manage key accounts using DELPHI/Opera, attend trade shows, develop proposals/contracts, upsell packages, coordinate bookings with operations, and maintain customer relationships and database records.

Manage day-to-day People/Human Resources operations, mentor and train the People team, handle employee relations and investigations, administer benefits and leave (ADA, FMLA, USERRA), lead new hire orientation and HR training, maintain HRIS/Workday data accuracy, and support HR programs and associate recognition.
