Full-time summer interns will support assignments and projects across corporate functions including finance, communications, HR, engineering, information systems, legal, sales, marketing, and risk management. Interns will work approximately 12 weeks at Penske’s Green Hills, Pennsylvania corporate offices and participate in community service, networking, and professional development activities.

Owns month-end close and accounting operations, applies advanced GAAP knowledge, strengthens internal controls, analyzes KPIs, and leads process improvements. The Senior Accountant resolves issues independently, communicates risks to management, mentors junior staff, and partners with cross-functional stakeholders. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, at least three years of accounting experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; CPA, MBA, Qlik Sense, and Power Query experience are preferred.

Leads the development and deployment of advanced analytics, predictive models, AI and machine learning solutions. Builds data pipelines, prepares analytical datasets, monitors model performance, and operationalizes production-ready capabilities. Partners with business and technical teams to solve complex problems, communicate insights, establish governance practices, and deliver measurable outcomes. Provides technical leadership and mentorship while applying techniques such as forecasting, classification, clustering, NLP, generative AI, and LLMs.

Supply chain and logistics interns rotate through departments and support projects involving cost savings, sourcing, value stream mapping, waste reduction, warehouse and dispatch operations, inventory control, safety, customer experience, and fleet planning. Interns analyze processes, prepare reports, support operational coverage, monitor performance, and recommend continuous improvements while gaining hands-on logistics management experience.

Manages total loss recovery claims from intake through resolution. Investigates liability, interprets contracts and insurance coverage, gathers evidence, prepares demands, negotiates settlements, processes recoveries, reconciles financial accounts, and maintains accurate claim files. Communicates with customers, insurers, third parties, and executive leadership while managing a high-volume portfolio, tracking follow-ups, resolving complex issues, and maximizing financial recovery.

Coordinates shipments, inventory, material flow, vendor communication, and transportation management processes. Tracks shipment deadlines, resolves part and shipment discrepancies, reconciles inventory data, prepares reports, identifies cost savings, and communicates operational information to customers and internal teams. The role requires operating transportation and inventory systems, advanced Excel and Outlook skills, problem solving, and flexibility across multiple shifts.

Supports operating tax responsibilities across U.S. and Canadian operations by analyzing transactional data, researching tax issues, supporting audits and compliance, configuring and testing tax engines, maintaining data systems, managing customer analytics requests, and coordinating cross-functional projects. The role also contributes to tax exposure mitigation, process improvements, troubleshooting, and departmental communication.

Generates sales leads through outbound and cold calls to retail, wholesale, dealer, fleet, and prospective customers. Follows up with prospects, sets appointments, handles inbound calls, and supports sales representatives. Assists with managing and maintaining vehicle inventory on auction and aggregator websites. The role provides training for increased responsibility within the Remarketing department.

Develops, maintains, tests, and supports robotic process automation bots and infrastructure. Responsibilities include Automation Anywhere bot development, code reviews, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, proof of concepts, requirements analysis, architecture ownership, capacity planning, disaster recovery strategy, and collaboration with business, IT, offshore, and vendor teams.

Provide day-to-day operational leadership for warehouse and transportation activities: supervise hourly staff, manage loading/unloading and dispatch, handle scheduling, hiring and performance, enforce safety and financial controls, optimize fleet utilization, support customer service, and drive continuous improvement.
