The Lower School Librarian leads a K–5 library program, teaches reading, information literacy, research skills, and digital citizenship, and supports classroom instruction. Responsibilities include collection development, cataloging, resource selection, checkout services, library events, author visits, displays, budgeting, purchasing, volunteer supervision, and maintaining the library space. The role collaborates with teachers and school librarians, manages library technologies and databases, supports inclusive learning, and participates in faculty meetings and school duties.
