The Director of Government Relations advances TSTC’s legislative priorities by building relationships with elected officials, agencies, policy staff, associations, and consultants. Responsibilities include analyzing legislation and regulations, tracking legislative activity, drafting reports and legislative language, identifying emerging policy issues, coordinating Capitol communications and institutional events, and collaborating with campus leadership. The role requires representing TSTC externally, managing multiple priorities, and supporting proactive government relations strategies.

The Career Advisor provides individualized, group, and drop-in career advising to students; supports resume writing, job searches, interview preparation, and professional development. The role facilitates career readiness workshops and events, assists with career fairs and employer engagement, collects placement data, and collaborates with faculty, enrollment teams, and career services partners to improve graduate employment outcomes.
