Designs and guides scalable, secure, resilient solutions across Ampol’s technology landscape, with emphasis on Azure, integrations, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture. Maintains architecture artifacts, defines standards and patterns, improves platforms and integrations, owns solutions from discovery through implementation, supports delivery leads, and participates in design and solution reviews. Partners across business, engineering, and architecture teams to drive innovation and strengthen enterprise technology capabilities.

Leads Ampol’s newly established technology and engineering capability, defining platform strategy and building a high-performing multidisciplinary engineering organization. Oversees infrastructure, cloud, networking, DevOps, platform engineering, integration, testing, automation, and end-user computing. Drives secure, resilient, scalable platforms, engineering excellence, modernization, operational performance, investment optimization, governance, and innovation. Partners with executive stakeholders while developing leaders, strengthening organizational capability, and delivering enterprise-wide technology outcomes.

Source, negotiate, and execute commercial agreements and leases for public EV charging infrastructure. Build relationships with developers, retailers, and stakeholders; identify and convert prospects; advise on market and sales strategies; and deliver revenue and growth targets. The role works autonomously across extended sales cycles and collaborates with marketing, product, commercial sales, and operations teams. Travel to customer and site locations is required.

Provide end-to-end employee relations case management and practical advice to leaders on performance management, investigations, disciplinary action, terminations, illness or injury matters, and employment legislation. Coach stakeholders, interpret policies and industrial instruments, manage ER risks, ensure compliant outcomes, and contribute to ER procedures, guidelines, governance, and continuous improvement.

Supports Ampol’s CTRM transformation program across technology delivery, business process, change, training, and governance workstreams. Responsibilities include tracking milestones, maintaining documentation and action registers, coordinating meetings, preparing status reports, improving workflows, maintaining dashboards, analyzing project data, supporting stakeholder communications, and assisting with training materials. The intern will gain exposure to trading, risk, finance systems, project delivery, data, AI, and automation.

Manage day-to-day tax compliance across income tax, GST, excise, FBT, and other taxes. Research and interpret Australian taxation law, provide ad hoc tax advice, maintain tax governance procedures, and liaise with finance and business stakeholders. The role also supports tax projects, process improvements, legislative updates, and the use of SAP, robotic process automation, AI, and machine learning to improve compliance activities.

Prepare, review and negotiate sale and purchase contracts for crude and petroleum products; manage contract paperwork, mitigate legal and commercial risk, improve processes, mentor team members, and support trading, shipping and legal teams on disputes and continuous improvement.

Lead employee and industrial relations initiatives, including enterprise bargaining, union engagement, compliance, organizational change, disputes, and Fair Work Commission matters. Provide expert advice on awards, enterprise agreements, employment legislation, and workplace relations processes. Build strong relationships with leaders, unions, and employee representatives while supporting transformation and governance programs.

Lead complex employee and industrial relations initiatives, including enterprise bargaining, union engagement, compliance programs, organisational change, and transformation activities. Provide expert advice on awards, enterprise agreements, employment legislation, and workplace disputes. Support Fair Work Commission matters, manage employee claims, build stakeholder relationships, and develop best-practice employee relations frameworks across the business.

Support end-to-end settlement activities for physical commodity trades, including purchase and sales invoicing, accounts receivable and payable processing, cash application, payment coordination, reconciliations, exception resolution, and month-end close. Review trade documentation, freight and demurrage costs, maintain settlement trackers, coordinate with trading and treasury teams, and ensure compliance with internal controls, contractual requirements, and audit standards.
