Design, implement, and maintain Hadoop-based big data platforms using HDFS, Pig, Hive, HBase and Sqoop. Lead and provide oversight to the Hadoop team, write/debug Pig/Hive/Sqoop and shell/Python code, perform performance tuning and troubleshooting, liaise with application teams for issue resolution, and provide on-call weekend support.

Translate functional requirements to system requirements, participate in SDLC, provide production support and performance engineering, and manage client/stakeholder interactions in a global delivery environment.

Design and develop Android applications and architectures (particularly for Card & Payments), implement Android SDK, REST/JSON integrations, use third-party APIs, provide technology advisory in a consulting environment, work with clients and teams, and travel as required.
