Lead re-architecture, design, development and launch of next-generation codebase for the thinkorswim trading platform. Build high-performance, low-latency real-time trading software in a distributed environment using networking, sockets, concurrent programming, caching, clustered architectures, messaging systems, relational databases and rich UI frameworks.

Lead and mentor a web development team building features and site improvements in a LEMP stack. Develop front-end interfaces (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), perform database development and SQL optimization, integrate systems via JSON/XML/PHP web services, and apply website optimization, secure coding, and SEO best practices.

Serve as primary liaison among PMs, BAs, developers, and customers to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements. Create user stories, backlogs, release plans, and acceptance criteria; assess feasibility and design system enhancements; support multiple applications and ensure SDLC, SOX compliance, and stakeholder communication. Use MS Project/Office and basic SQL.

Develop and maintain browser-based applications using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and frameworks (jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular). Collaborate with UX designers, integrate with back-end systems (JSP/JSON/AJAX), ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility, fix compatibility issues, and work in small agile teams.

Develop UAT plans and automated test scripts for mobile applications. Execute mobile app testing, validate functionality using Calabash/Cucumber with Gherkin, and use Java, Swift, Objective-C, and SQL for test automation.

Administer and architect an enterprise Git system, implement Git best practices, integrate Git with Rational Team Concert and other tooling, build automation and server-side scripts, provide first-level support and troubleshooting, define SLAs and processes, and manage users, groups, projects, and server infrastructure.

Lead monthly regression testing planning and execution, improve regression suites, coordinate with QA teams and business SMEs, manage test data and defect tracking to ensure timely, high-quality releases.

Support and enable multiple distributed software teams by building DevOps scripts and automations for test, build and deployment. Communicate with stakeholders at all technical levels, create custom JIRA dashboards, review source code (Java, .NET, scripts), and manage both Linux and Windows platform tasks to streamline development operations.
