Own the organization’s data strategy, architecture, governance, and roadmap across vehicle telemetry, manufacturing, and enterprise data. Lead large-scale streaming and batch data platform development while remaining hands-on with designs, code, and performance issues. Recruit and manage data engineering and analytics teams, partner cross-functionally on reliability and product needs, establish quality and security standards, oversee reporting, and manage tooling, vendors, and budget.

Lead regulatory engineering for a software-defined vehicle domain: author and maintain DVPs, ensure regulation-to-code traceability, guide engineering and homologation stakeholders, assess change impacts, coordinate validation testing and certification evidence, and improve scalable homologation processes across programs and markets.

Design and optimize scalable geospatial data pipelines to convert high-frequency vehicle sensor telemetry into high-fidelity map features. Build map-matching, trajectory smoothing, and sensor-fusion algorithms, apply statistical tests for change detection and map validation, and lead system architecture for low-latency spatial indexing and storage while collaborating with embedded, perception, and cloud teams.

Develop and maintain performance-sensitive embedded telematics software using Modern C++ or Rust. Implement and test communication protocols (NATs, MQTT, HTTPS, gRPC), protobuf serialization, mTLS security, and Yocto-based Linux builds. Optimize for resource-constrained systems, collaborate with cross-functional and cloud teams, and produce robust unit tests.
