Lead product direction for IQM Radiance and Spark across hardware, cryogenics, control electronics, software, and system performance. Define requirements, prioritize development, translate technical concepts for customers, support procurements, develop roadmaps, and coordinate R&D, engineering, sales, and customers to deliver and launch complex quantum systems.

Build, improve, and monitor CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for QPU access. Maintain Linux servers, write automation and scripts, manage containers, implement IaC, monitor systems with Prometheus/Grafana, support release management, and uphold software security controls.

Lead global commercial partner strategy to expand market adoption, close multi-million-dollar co-development and distribution deals, integrate IQM hardware into HPC and sovereign infrastructures, manage alliances and cross-functional delivery, and scale a distributed partnerships team.

Own and improve wafer fabrication processes in a cleanroom: operate tools, optimize and control processes, design DOE experiments, troubleshoot production issues, produce technical reports, and collaborate with Production, Materials, Equipment, and vendors to improve QPU fabrication and ensure safety and quality.

Lead development and integration of quantum optimization algorithms into hybrid classical-quantum workflows. Design, implement, simulate, benchmark, and run experiments on algorithms and QPUs. Build scalable software libraries, collaborate with hardware and research teams, publish results, support customer proofs-of-concept, produce documentation, and mentor colleagues.

Develop and improve QPU calibration methods for QEC by implementing, executing, and analyzing QEC benchmarks and experiments. Build quantum operations (readout, reset, leakage reduction), contribute to quantum control software and calibration workflows, define technology-stack requirements, report results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while mentoring junior members.

Build and maintain Resonance, IQM's cloud product connecting users to quantum hardware. Deliver primarily backend (and occasional frontend) features, design APIs and authentication, produce secure public-facing services, write and test high-quality typed code, participate in code/design reviews, and support CI/CD, monitoring, and development best practices while mentoring teammates.

Operate and maintain IQM quantum computers across cloud, customer, and R&D environments. Execute calibration, perform on-site debugging and commissioning, analyze system performance, troubleshoot hardware-software integration, support L2 incident resolution, and provide structured feedback to R&D. Develop service documentation and laboratory best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers.

Serve as the technical bridge between IQM and customers in Japan: design and present tailored quantum solutions, lead PoCs and demos, manage technical bids and proposals, engage stakeholders to identify use cases, feed product/R&D with customer insights, represent IQM at events, and support customers through the full sales cycle across APAC.
