ERM China seeks 3-6 month Sustainability Interns in Shanghai or Beijing to support client projects on ESG, climate change, decarbonization, environmental and social impact, compliance, and ESG data digitalization. Interns will assist with technical data recording, report preparation, and multi-project consulting work under supervision.

Support social impact projects including resettlement advisory, socio-economic surveys, stakeholder engagement, RAP/IPDP preparation, monitoring implementation, and social due diligence per international standards.

Support capital project delivery by conducting biodiversity and environmental impact assessments, analyzing global biodiversity data, preparing management plans, performing site visits, supervising subcontractors, and providing research and reporting support. May require domestic or international travel.

Join project teams to conduct client interviews, analyze data and build models, produce reports, assist project management, and coordinate with stakeholders to support sustainability, EHS, ESG, climate and natural capital work.

Work as an intern supporting sustainability and EHS consulting projects across sectors (oil & gas, mining, chemicals, power, manufacturing). Tasks include data digitization, report writing, analysis, presentations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams while developing technical and consulting skills over a 3–6 month placement.

Support project managers on environmental consulting engagements by tracking schedules and budgets, coordinating logistics and field programs, preparing technical documentation and client updates, maintaining project controls and filing, and assisting with invoicing, QA/QC, and health & safety planning across multiple projects.

Support the Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change team on GHG inventories, decarbonization, climate risk (TCFD), double materiality/CSRD, ESG strategy and sustainability reporting (GRI, CDP, SBTi). Assist with biodiversity (TNFD), compliance, document review, meetings and cross-functional collaboration. Office-based in Madrid or Barcelona; requires signing a university internship agreement and fluency in Spanish and English.

Support technical safety and risk projects by performing analysis, building QRA models in Excel, assisting with fire/explosion and gas/smoke dispersion modelling using CFD or empirical tools, conducting risk calculations and ETRERA, participating in HAZOP/HAZID workshops, preparing safety case/report sections, supporting proposals and client meetings, and ensuring Health & Safety compliance.

Join ERM Taiwan as a graduate consultant working on sustainability and EHS projects across sectors. Contribute to technical analysis, report writing, data recording and digitization of EHS information. Support multiple client engagements, meet deadlines, travel as needed, and develop both technical and consulting skills within a global network.

Provide EHS support to industrial clients: conduct H&S and environmental audits, risk assessments, permit support, develop technical reports and EIAs, implement EHS improvements, and maintain client relationships while working with senior consultants and cross‑functional ERM teams.
