Provide on-site administrative support including data entry, answering phones, managing confidential paper and electronic files, scheduling, office supply/equipment maintenance, assisting with outreach and vendor contacts, and occasional travel to tribal communities. Maintain confidentiality and culturally competent interactions.

Support the Planning & Development Director by coordinating planning activities, research, data gathering and analysis, grant development, community outreach, and project design for tribal programs across housing, health, economic development, and emergency planning. Attend meetings, trainings, and tribal council sessions; assist with facilitation and implementation of work plans; secure funding and ensure culturally sensitive service delivery.

Oversee all accounting and financial operations including budgeting, grant compliance, financial reporting, audits, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, internal controls, and insurance. Manage and train accounting staff, prepare budgets and indirect cost proposals, ensure tax filings, and report financial status to the CEO and Board. Maintain policies, procedures, and compliance with federal/state and grantee requirements.
